Francis Lee Mondia Jul 05, 2018 • edited. Hi Alexey, So, I have an epic in my board, and inside that epic, you can create issues in the section "Issues in Epic" by clicking the plus (+) sign. I'm using an epic to track a project, and each issue in the epic is a task. So naturally tasks complete, and have the status as "Done".
1 answer. This looks as if you pulled in a Jira macro and accidentally selected multiple issues through a JQL filter. Edit your Confluence page and edit the Jira macro in your table. Suppose you just want to view the PRODUCT-11 epic, just type 'PRODUCT-11' in the search box and press enter to make sure you just see the one issue.
In order to remove done epics from the drop-down you have to set the epic status. This is different from the workflow status. I would recommend that you set it as part of the workflow, or that you have an automation that sets the epic status when you move it to a Done status. Take a look at Linking Epic Status to the Epic Issue Status for more
Issues are the building blocks of any Jira project. An issue could represent a story, a bug, a task, or another issue type in your project. If you're a project admin, choose ••• > Configure to change the layout of fields in the issue view. You can see related commits, builds, and pull requests to help you evaluate the development status
Select Link issue. Choose the type of issue link, e.g. relates to. Specify the epic that you want to link to, by either: typing the full issue key (ABC-123, for example) searching for an issue with a text search or an advanced search. Select Link. Select the Epic link field and remove the epic.
In the Classic project, you could remove an epic from your backlog by marking it as Done. However, I do not see a way to do this in the Next-Gen project. This is an important feature for organizing and communicating priorities in the backlog. Steps to reproduce: Create a Next-gen project; Open Backlog; Create an Epic issue type ; Change Epic to T1lu. 995 800 925 752 708 575 24 131
