With decat and open Akro, my 'exhaust pipe, finger wipe' butt dyno shows both 790 and 950 carbon residue levels are comparable. The 950 has been jetted and tested under a wideband meter to achieve consistent 14.5 - 13.5 AFR's across mid to WOT throttle (rpm) openings. Need to get the 790 on a real dyno to investigate :)
Ok. Measured all shims with the micrometer. These values, plus measured clearance, minus desired clearance, equals new shim thickness if I understand correctly. Which is fine except that one inlet (measured clearance 0.08, right on the limit) would need a 2.42 shim to get to 0.12 (max clearance). 9LNbr3. 841 844 624 615 698 624 173 309
