6 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Feb 16, 2021. My old JD 950 ran and worked great 4 days ago moving snow here in Montana. Parked it and lowered the bucket and 3-point scraper blade onto blocks as usual. Temps that day were single digit but had no problems. Today- Temps in the 20's. Engine fired up easy, but hydraulics won't work. Don't see any leaks.
John Deere 1050 hydraulic filter issue. John Deere 1050, circa 1981. Purchased new from dealer. Does not have power steering. Bought loader from another dealer a year later. Currently working on a hydraulic leak on the high pressure solid line from hydraulic pump to rear manifold on transaxle. Leaking oil at banjo fitting on manifold.
The hydraulic fluid goes in the back of the tractor above the PTO shaft, there's a screw off cap; the dip stick is on the lower right of same. Reservoir is on the right side between the radiator
